WOLF: Cover Of IRON MAIDEN's 'Déjà Vu' Posted Online
December 8, 2007Swedish metallers WOLF have posted their cover of IRON MAIDEN's "Déjà Vu" on their MySpace page. The song was featured on the "Tribute to the Beast Vol. 2" compilation, which came out in 2003 on Nuclear Blast Records, and on the vinyl version of WOLF's "Evil Star".
WOLF is currently writing material for its new album, tentatively due late next year. "We've come up with some killer tunes that will sure carry the name WOLF with pride," the group previously stated. "It's too early to reveal any details but we're excited to have started writing and trying out stuff at rehearsals. We're aiming on a summer recording session and details will follow soon."
WOLF recently announced the addition of bassist Anders "Tornado" Modd to the group's ranks.
The band's latest album, "The Black Flame", was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden. The follow-up to 2004's "Evil Star" is the first album to feature new drummer Tobias R Kellgren and longtime session/live guitarist Johannes Losbäck alongside founding members Niklas Stålvind (vocals, lead guitar) and bassist Mikael Goding (who has since left the band).
